The greats do it. Do you?
George Mumford is the actual Zen Master behind Phil Jackson’s dynastic Bulls teams - he brought meditation to Chicago and put them in the Zone.
Alex Honnold, renowned rock climber, speaks often on how visualizes the intricate details before his life-or-death free solo attempts.
Professional athletes and Olympians across a variety of sports use meditation and visualization as key parts of their training regimen, developing mental toughness, laser-sharp focus and high-level decision making.
Skill and talent fall behind if your training doesn’t cover all aspects of what it takes to be elite. Both the physical and the mental need training…
With MVP you can grow into your next-level and gain the competitive edge you need to succeed.

The mental part of the game is under-developed…
MVP provides the structure and teaching to develop the mental component of the game.
Mental toughness: every coach wants it and every player needs it.
Player stress, focus, decision-making, and performance anxiety are hard to manage, both as a player and as a coach. Yet every hooper experiences it one way or another.
As a player, coach, and former Prep Hoops + Prep Girls Hoops scout, I’ve seen talent lose to smarter teams purely due to execution and decision making. I’ve also seen player stress, performance anxiety, and “the yips” cost teams vital possessions, often on the biggest stages. The result is maddening. If you’re a coach there’s no doubt you’ve seen it too, or maybe it’s been you... fortunately though, I’ve got the fix. But first, the diagnosis; so much of this is due to poor mental skill work.
I’ve heard so many coaches tell me their players aren’t mentally tough. They can’t handle the big stage. They fold under pressure. Their confidence rises and falls depending on the day. Consistency is nonexistent.
Sometimes athletes are transitioning from one level of competition to another and they’re doubting themselves.
Or maybe you’re seeing a lack of care and awareness when you need disciplined possessions the most.
Another common situation includes a player who’s slow coming back into form after an injury.
More broadly, think of the team that’s playing at their floor… how do they break through their ceiling?
All of these problems point to the fact that the mental component isn’t trained.
Yes, the hard skills and physical work is necessary. But the mind needs training too. How do you develop the mental component? Meditation and visualization.
Until now, you’ve had no real tool to work on these aspects of the game. With MVP, you can drill every situation.
Execution and calm in a wire-to-wire game.
Organizing the offense and finishing plays with poise.
Belief and resilience in a comeback run in the 4th.
Playing confident and overcoming the ranked opponent as a lower seed in the postseason tournament.
Handling the stress and intensity of a nailbiter with focus and grace.
These are the moments that practice and film fail to recreate, and yet they are the moments you want to drill the most. Players need to be thrown into the fire - now they can be with meditations and vivid visualizations which develop their mental toughness and drop them right into the action. These two skills, meditation and visualization, open up every possibility.
What you need is the MVP Program.
Now, imagine this…
Your below .500 team rediscovers its confidence, breaks the shooting slump, and shows signs of life you didn’t know they had. With their newfound belief in themselves and each other you finish the season with big wins and find momentum going into next season.
Your .500 team hits stride going into playoffs, shooting is white hot, decisions are crisp, and you have a cache of meditations and visualizations on hand to prepare them for knocking down higher seeds and making a cinderella run.
Your title contending team is as focused and hungry as ever because they’ve seen the mountaintop. They know the sweetness of a championship victory because they’ve visualized it tens of times. Execution is crisp as ever and role players are playing at their ceiling.

FAQs
How much time will I need each day?
Most practices take 20-25 minutes, though you can spend more time when you choose.
Do I need any special equipment?
All you need is a yoga mat, headphones, and a quiet space.
I’ve never done meditation or visualization before. Can I still do this?
Of course. Within the MVP Lab are beginner and intermediate meditations. Like any skill, it will take time to develop. Visualization though is a little different; some people can’t visually imagine scenes in their head. In that case, which is rare, MVP will support you greatly with meditation, but visualization will not be of help.
I’m not flexible or fit. Can I still do this?
Absolutely. The movement practices are accessible for all bodies and all levels, and you can modify them to meet your needs.
Will the yoga help with pain?
Many athletes experience relief from back pain, hip tension, and other exercise-related tightness. While it’s not a substitute for physical therapy or care, it works beautifully alongside it.
